Earlier this month, Login.gov launched a new State and Local Working Group to focus on the distinct policy, technical, and operational considerations of its state and local partners. We currently serve approximately a quarter of all states, and the new working group will specifically address the unique identity management needs of this growing user base.
Modeled after the successful Login.gov Partner Advisory Group, this new forum aims to create a space for state and local partners to exchange ideas, surface challenges, and share implementation insights. The inaugural session included representatives from nearly all current state partners and explored how Login.gov complements existing statewide identity ecosystems. We are looking forward to continuing this collaboration to support secure, accessible digital identity services for the public across all levels of government.
